Personal Info
With an incredible 50 years of experience as a registered nurse, Linda Vincent has dedicated her career to caring for others. Since childhood, she knew she wanted to be a nurse, inspired by the compassionate care she received after a tonsillectomy at the age of five. Today, she specializes in osteoporosis management, working with both Southwest Cancer Care (SWCC) patients and referrals from the community to ensure they receive the best possible care.
Linda earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, in 2006. Looking back, she says the only thing she would change about her career is becoming a nurse practitioner (NP) sooner. Still passionate about learning, she has a Ph.D. on her bucket list and hopes to complete it in the next two years.
Originally from a town 35 miles west of Philadelphia, Linda loves her roots but doesn’t miss the harsh winters. Her love for travel and sunshine brought her to Sierra Vista, where she enjoys the warm weather and vibrant community. Her passion for helping others extends beyond healthcare, she trains her two beloved Airedale Terriers, Sadie and Dragon, as registered therapy dogs. She finds great joy in bringing them to work and watching how they brighten the day for patients and staff alike.
At Southwest Cancer Care, Linda is proud to be part of a team that is deeply committed to compassionate, patient-focused care. The clinic provides cutting-edge oncology and hematology services, ensuring patients receive personalized treatments that address not only their medical needs but also their emotional and financial well-being. She takes great pride in contributing to SWCC’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare close to home.
When she’s not working, Linda enjoys traveling, exploring coastal lighthouses, and spending time with her dogs. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve her patients and looks forward to continuing to make a difference in their lives.
